Hike
Hike
30-60m
20-minute hike from the Ropeway Station to reach a viewpoint that offers a breathtaking panorama. The highlight was standing on a perfectly round rock that jutted out over the edge, offering an exhilarating view if you dared to walk to the edge and look down. There's no safety barrier, so it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted—you’re quite literally risking your own life for that view!
If you want a longer hike, you can do the four-kilometer trail starting at Nagatoro Bridge or just not take the ropeway up. I actually recommend only taking the ropeway for either going up or down because the forest trail is actually very serene.
