Hike
3-4h
Given the shorter length of this hike, I recommend starting early to catch the sunrise. If you're staying at Murodo, set out around 3 a.m. for a breathtaking experience. This is one of the most beginner-friendly 3,000-meter peaks, and the summit shrine is beautifully crafted, adding a spiritual touch (entry costs ¥700). A heads-up—water here costs ¥700 a bottle, so bring your own! There are benches and tables at the summit, perfect for a snack or lunch while taking in the views.
