Uttakleiv Beach in Vestvågøy is one of the most photographed beaches on Lofoten. The rocky shoreline on the left side offers near limitless photographic possibilities, while the sandy middle section adds more options for exploration. During the summer, the beach can be full of tourists and campfires, while in winter it’s popular among photographers because of its pristine beauty after the snowfall. It's a great spot to take photographs of the northern lights too, as the horizon is open to the north. Parking is available on the left side of the beach just past the village, and is also a popular camping site with grassy dunes behind the beach.
