It's a fantastic geothermal area that has been set up perfectly for visitors. With walkways, signs and a convenient carpark, it's easy to explore all the amazing features of the area, like the steaming solfatara fields, boiling hot springs and multi-coloured hills. It's definitely worth checking out alongside other nearby sights, like the oceanside pool Brimketill, bird-watching cliffs of Krýsuvíkurbjarg, lake Kleifarvatn and the "Bridge between the Continents"
