The Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto is a historic spot home to one of the best plum blossom gardens in Japan. If you visit in mid-February, I highly recommend you pay this shrine a visit! Explore the beautiful grounds, see the impressive main shrine and gates, and even check out the Shrine Museum.
