Kanazawa Castle Ruins, located in Kanazawa, is not the most impressive out of all the castles in Japan but definitely worth visiting in spring and autumn for the beautiful scenery as well as the castle park. You can explore the castle's moat, pond, and beautiful Japanese garden, as well as enjoy the view from the top of the restored grounds.
