Make your way to the Setagaya Line, you can ride one of the two remaining street tram lines of Tokyo in the "Kofuku-no-Manekineko Densha” (The beckoning cat of good fortune train).

This pawsome train features cat ears on the train’s front and a bell design where the cars are coupled have been specially added for the train’s service on the Setagaya Line. You can take this train to visit the Gotoku-ji Temple, the birthplace of manekineko. Check the schedule ahead of time! The special cat train rides about once every 30-60mins.

The Setagaya Line Explorer Ticket is the best deal if you want to explore this area. For only 340 yen for adults, you can ride the line as many times as far as you want and as much as you want!

If you get off at Miyanosaka Station, you can walk to Gotokuji-Temple and enjoy the full cat experience! There is also an old vintage train car right next to the station that you can visit every day from 9-5pm.
