Westminster Abbey, located in Westminster is a majestic and historically significant Anglican church with over a thousand years of British history. As a working church, it hosts daily worship services, and remains the Coronation church of England, where many royal weddings and funerals are held.
The Abbey is also the resting place of 17 English monarchs, including Edward the Confessor, and has been the site of coronations since 1066.
