Miles Canyon is located just a few kilometers outside of Whitehorse, and is an ancient landscape created by basaltic lava from almost nine million years ago! During summer visitors can explore the extensive trail system or take part in Created at the Canyon, an interactive event featuring artists creating art inspired by their natural surroundings. • I love to trail run by Miles Canyon in the summer and it is a beautiful drive for all ages and fitness levels! The road is closed in the winter but you can still walk to the canyon and see the stunning blue water of the Yukon River :)

• Walking the trails towards Canyon City gives you beautiful views and you can learn tons about the Yukon's history along the way!
