Chapman's Peak Drive is a scenic road that winds along the western side of the Cape Peninsula in South Africa, offering breathtaking views of Hout Bay and Noordhoek. Named after a ship pilot from 1607, this road was carved out of the mountain between 1915 and 1922, making it a marvel of engineering. Visitors can stop at viewpoints to take in the stunning landscapes and enjoy the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. It's a popular route for events like the Cape Argus Cycle Race and the Two Oceans Marathon, attracting both tourists and locals looking for a picturesque drive along the coast.
