St Clement's Church in Rodel is worth a stop if you are driving around the south of Harris and is brimming with history.

Some history:

This awe-inspiring building was founded by Alasdair MacLeod, the 8th chief of Clan MacLeod, and features his stone tomb. The church is surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to reflect and soak up the history. With its special view of the sea, it was also recently used as a filming location for Call the Midwife's 2019 Christmas Special!
