In Ibiza there is an unusual mysterious place called Atlantis. The history of this place is peculiar. Many, many years ago, people cut stone rocks to build what is now known as the old town of Ibiza (Dalt Villa). And it was precisely in the 1960s that hippies landed in Ibiza and bewitched by so much beauty chose Atlantis as their place of worship. We noticed that faces, animals and writing are carved among the rocks. The waves of the sea then create a truly sensational natural pool.

Atlantis is located near Cala D'Hort but it is not easy to get to, starting from the trek to the directions that are almost nonexistent. After all we asked locals about how to get there and it actually turned out to be more exciting. In any case, take the Es Vedrà parking lot as a reference point. Along the way you will find someone who will smile and say “you can do it,” you can do it, come on!

🇮🇹 Ad Ibiza esiste un posto insolito misterioso chiamato Atlantis. La storia di questo luogo è particolare. Tantissimi anni fà, le persone tagliavano le rocce di pietra per costruire quella che oggi è conosciuta come la città vecchia di Ibiza (Dalt Villa). E proprio negli anni '60 gli hippy sbarcarono ad Ibiza e stregati da tanta bellezza scelsero Atlantis come luogo di culto. Abbiamo notato che tra le rocce sono scolpiti volti, animali e scritte. Le onde del mare creano poi una piscina naturale davvero sensazionale.

Atlantis si trova vicino a Cala D'Hort ma non è facile da raggiungere, a partite dal trekking fino alle indicazione che sono pressoché inesistenti. Dopo tutto noi abbiamo chiesto alla gente del posto su come arrivarci ed effettivamente è risultato tutto più entusiasmante. In ogni caso prendi come punto di riferimento il parcheggio di Es Vedrà.  Durante il tragitto troverai qualcuno che ti sorriderà e ti dirà “you can do it”, ce la puoi fare, forza!
