After arriving in Tasmania, I have to admit I felt pretty lost and overwhelmed about where to go and what to do. I didn’t have a solid plan or even a clear direction for my travels. So, after a few days of just moping around and adjusting to the new environment, I decided to head west along the northern coast, a route that isn’t super popular or well-trodden.

My first stop was Guide Falls, and I have to say, getting back into nature really reignited my passion for exploring and traveling around Australia. The falls were absolutely stunning and incredibly accessible. Located near Burnie, they’re set against a picturesque backdrop of farmland. The waterfall itself plunges about 25 meters, and the sight was breathtaking. I enjoyed a leisurely lunch there, soaking in the serene surroundings, which helped clear my mind and shift my mood.

Tasmania is full of amazing waterfalls, and if you’re on a trip here, don’t miss this one. It’s easy to explore and simply beautiful, definitely worth seeing if you can fit it into your itinerary.
