This newly built museum is a bit far from Taipei but convenient to travel to. It was designed by KRIS YAO | ARTECH, to be a modern and contemporary art museum located on reclaimed land at the convergence of the Yingge River and Dahan River in Taiwan. You can visit and see this huge museum; they have exhibitions happening all the time, so be sure to check on those.
The design draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, incorporating elements like reeds and old streets to create a unique architectural form. The museum features a distinctive façade made of sandblasted aluminum tubes that mimic the swaying reeds, while the interior includes exhibition spaces, art streets, and sculpture terraces for visitors to explore. With its blend of natural and fabricated elements, the museum offers a dynamic and engaging space for art enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
