Takeshita-dori is one of the most famous shopping streets in Tokyo. While I think it has lost quite a lot of its unique charme over the past 5-10 years, it's definitely worth a visit if it's your first time in Tokyo. Shops have become less and less and a lot of my favorite shops are unfortunately not there anymore. Instead, you can find a lot of insta-worthy food here now.

Be aware that Takeshita-dori gets very very crowded every single day from early afternoon. It is worse on the weekend, especially on a Sunday. It can honestly become quite suffocating. I highly recommend to come here between 10-12 on a weekday.
