The Amakashi-no-Oka Area in Asuka Historical National Government Park is a low hill with a rich history dating back to the 7th century. It was once home to the powerful Soga no Emishi and his son Iruka. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the picturesque Asuka village and the three great mountains of Yamato from the observation plaza. The area also offers panoramic vistas of the surrounding Nara Plain. With wheelchair-accessible facilities, a break area, and ample parking, it's a great spot to relax and take in the beauty of the landscape.
