Zürichhorn is lovely lakeside park on the east side of Lake Zurich.

It has a huge grassy lawns, good for picnics and games. There are lots of places to lounge near the water, a particularly nice place to enjoy the sunset. There's also a big playground with swings, slides, and other amusements.

One of our favorite features is the small pond with stepping stones and arched bridge. It's a nice place for photos, particularly in late October when the trees turn bright yellow.

How to get here

We suggest walking here from Bellevue, strolling along the gold coast lakeside promenade.

You can get here with a bus 912 or 916 to the Chinagarten stop. Or tram to Fröhlichstrasse stop and short walk to lake. Or boat from Zürich Burkliplatz to Zürichhorn.

Where to eat

On the lakeside, you'll find the self-service Fischergarten beer garden with outdoor seating and the table service Fischerstube restaurant, which often requires a reservation for dinner.
