This mountain playground overlooks both Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, with some of the best views you can get in the Jungfrau Region.
While parents take in the scenery, the kids will love climb into the giant wooden cow and sliding out its mouth. The playground also has swings, small trampolines, seesaw, spinner, self-service bowling, and other amusements.
Open: June thru mid October
More activities
We usually combine this with the short Royal Walk to a higher viewpoint (40 mins there and back). Then we usually hike from the playground on the easy panorama trail to Kleine Scheidegg, about 90 mins one way.
From Lauterbrunnen, ride a mountain train to Wengen, then a cable car to Männlichen.
A round trip ticket from the valley costs about CHF 58-64 depending on where you start.
Cost
There is no cost to use the playground. But you'll need to ride a cable car to get there, which costs about CHF 58-64 depending on if you start in Grindelwald or Wengen.
