✨ Known as the longest and most difficult hike in Arches National Park, this one ranks as one of my top 3 (and I know it’s a favorite for MANY)
If you’ve only got time for one hike, this one is definitely the most bang for your buck if you’re in decent hiking condition.
⏰ If you’re strapped for time, I would do it as an out and back going from the TH to Landscape Arch and continuing to Double O Arch then turning around, skipping Navajo, Private, Partition, Tunnel, and Pine Tree Arches. If you do have time, I would definitely check out the side trails to the different arches. Partition happens to be one of my favorite arches in the park and if you’re an early riser, is a GREAT place to watch the sunrise. The very best views on the entire hike are heading from Double O back to Landscape. You can complete the entire loop either clockwise or counterclockwise, and I find counterclockwise to have the best views, although slightly more difficult with route finding.

👧🏼 Older Kid Friendly — lots of drops and potentially fatal falls for young children // there are flat sections of trail safe for toddlers, but we opted for the backpack for much of the hike. The RT hike to Landscape, Pine Tree, and Tunnel Arches is kid friendly for all ages.
💦 No water on the trail, so be sure to pack at least one liter for every 2 hours (this hike will take most 3-4 hours)
The primitive section of trail is very poorly marked, however that’s part of the fun. You’ll need to do some route finding to stay on trail, but I’d highly suggest downloading a GPX map or AllTrails if it’s your first time.
