Located in Tasmania, Australia, Cape Sorell Lighthouse is a beacon of beauty. Standing tall at 40 meters, this historical 1899 structure remains the only remaining remnant from an old brick complex consisting of 3 houses and an engine room. Initially powered by vapourised kerosene and later converted to solar power, this lighthouse still serves a purpose today with its light characteristic of two flashes occurring every fifteen seconds. Its beautiful white light can be seen from 32 kilometres away and has become a popular sight for tourists exploring the area.
