Sightseeing
Lyab-i Hauz, also known as Lyabi Khause Square, is a charming spot in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, centered around a historic pool. Surrounded by architectural gems like the Kukeldash Madrasa and the Khanqah of Nadir Divan-begi, this area has retained its beauty since the 16th and 17th centuries. Legend has it that the pool was built after a Jewish widow's refusal to sell her land, leading to a unique compromise. Today, visitors can enjoy the serene atmosphere, lush greenery, and even a statue of the beloved folklore character Nasreddin. It's a must-visit for those seeking a glimpse into Bukhara's rich history and culture.
