Trondheim is a city that has a little something for everyone. Whether you come for the food, history, art, music or nature, you'll find inspiration here to explore this great little town that has so much to offer. Stroll over the Gamle Bybro towards the center and enjoy the view of the 18th-century wooden wharves that are lined up along the Nidelva river. If you're looking for unique city activities, we also recommend a kayak trip on the Nidelva river, a visit to the museum The Archbishop's Palace, or take the boat to the bathing and picnic paradise Munkholmen just outside the city.

On the other side of the river, the Nidarosdomen Cathedral, Trondheim’s Gothic queen, is a must-visit as well.
