Kongens Nytorv is a bustling public square in Copenhagen, Denmark, located at the end of the popular pedestrian street Strøget. Established by Christian V in 1670, this square is the city's largest and features an equestrian statue of the king at its center. Surrounded by significant buildings like the Royal Danish Theater and Charlottenborg Palace, Kongens Nytorv is not just a historical site but also a hub for outdoor exhibitions, ice skating in winter, and high school graduation celebrations where students come to toss their caps in the air. It's a lively spot where history meets modern-day fun!
