Piazza di Spagna is one of the most iconic squares in Rome, Italy. Spanning from the bottom of the Spanish Steps up to the Palazzo di Propaganda Fide, it is a sight not to be missed! In the middle of the square you can find Fontana della Barcaccia, a spectacular marble fountain sculpted by Pietro Bernini and his son, Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Not far away stands the house of the English poet John Keats who lived there until his death in 1821. On the right side of the Piazza is the Column of the Immaculate Conception, and at the left corner, Babington's tea room, an english-inspired tearoom established in 1893. It's easy to spend hours strolling around this remarkable area, soaking up the incredible atmosphere, and taking in all its beautiful sights and sounds.
