My favourite hike in New Zealand! An absolutely MUST when visiting! The Hooker Valley Track in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park is a must-do day hike with stunning views of the Southern Alps. This easy 10 km return track takes you past alpine streams, glaciers, and the impressive Aoraki/Mount Cook. You'll spot the world's biggest buttercup, the Mount Cook buttercup, and may even hear the mischievous kea along the way. Don't forget your camera for those epic mountain shots & glacier lakes!
