Ban Wen is a village becoming a new destination for tourists to experience rural life in Nan province. And actually not only the village itself but the all the area and the nearby villages. From Pua you are passing Doi Phu Kha National Park, Lan Du Dao Viewpoint and Phu Kha 1715 Viewpoint. Most people would stop in Bo Klua and visit the famous Ancient Salt Pits. You can also stop at the famous Arpo De Marn Coffee Shop where you have a stunning view over the valley north of Bo Klua. The road is a bit difficult as you go curve after curve going up to 1.715m altitude, but if you're in the area, it's worth stopping there and experience the slow life & culture of Nan province.
