The Hoba Meteorite, located in Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia, is the largest known intact meteorite and one of the most famous. Discovered after nearly colliding with an ox-pulled plow in 1920, it was declared a national monument in 1955. With its mass estimated at over 60 tonnes, the Hoba Meteorite has stood the test of time, earning its place in history as well as becoming a popular tourist attraction due to its rare nature. With 84% iron and 16% nickel, and traces of cobalt, the massive meteorite continues to draw interest from around the world.
