Krýsuvík is an area located about 35 km from Reykjavík on the Reykjanes peninsula. It's known for its rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, with farms in the vicinity until 1945. Today, Krýsuvík is a popular hiking destination with geothermal areas and the stunning Grænavatn lake.
