Take a quick hike to the tallest waterfall in Massachussetts. Bash Bish Falls is technically located in Massachussetts, but the main parking area is located just over the border in New York.

While you can also access the falls via a parking lot in Massachussets, the easiest way to get there is by parking in the lot on the New York side and then following the trail for 0.75 miles.

The trail is very easy to follow and takes you past a crystal clear creek and then up to an overlook of the 60 foot falls that plunge into a crystal pool. You can walk down the staircase down to the base of the falls, but you are NOT allowed to swim.

There is no parking fee. The best time to go is April - November. This is also a great place in winter, but make sure you have microspikes for the ice that forms on the stairs.
