The Molėtai Astronomical Observatory is an amazing astronomical observatory situated in Kulionys, Lithuania that is owned and operated by the Vilnius University Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy. This observatory boasts three unique telescopes; a 35 cm Maksutov Telescope, 63 cm Cassegrain Telescope and the largest in Northern Europe (excluding Britain) 165 cm Ritchey–Chrétien Telescope. Established in 1969, these facilities have allowed astronomers to observe and study far away galaxies and other wonderful space phenomena!
