I cannot recommend Kaha Island Stay highly enough, I love this place! It’s a clean and well-designed accommodation located in the north in Santa Monica. 

They offer 2 aesthetic private rooms or a bed in a dormitory and their staff is super friendly (say hi to Sam for me)! Plus, they have a shared kitchen and super fast internet with working desks (after my demand haha).

Lastly, Kaha is just a short 3-minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches with an unobstructed sunset view. The beach Tangbo is also an amazing surf spot but only works during the peak season (September-January) so if surf is your priority and you travel here outside of peak season, maybe consider another hotel around Pacifico in order to avoid the 20min. drives each time. 

Sometimes I stay there anyway just because I love the space and peaceful vibes so much and don’t mind the drives.
