Message from mattberthou

Sólheimasandur is a wreckage of a US Army aircraft. This wreck is located on the black sand beach between the Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull glaciers. This plane crashed on the beach in November 1973 following a storm. There were 7 crew members. They all made it out unscathed.

Round trip, it takes 2h30 with the photo shoot.
