The strangely looking Sound Sculpture Tvísöngur in Seyðisfjörður in East-Iceland is an amazing work of art located up on a mountainside overlooking the town. The sculpture consists of five interconnected domes, each ranging from two to four meters in height and covering 30 sq.m. This concrete structure is truly unique with it's door opening resembling mushrooms or igloos! Inside this sculpture is where the magic begins - the acoustics inside each dome is unique and produces a resonating sound corresponding to different tones in the Icelandic musical tradition of five-tone harmony. It's a great experience to explore the acoustics of each dome and visitors will have lots of fun making sounds and singing away!

How to get there: By road 93, take direction Seyðisfjörður. You have to go to the parking lot of Tvísöngur (Tvísöngur bílastæði). It takes a 15 min walk
