Armazém Cardosão is a great spot to go for enjoying local samba in Rio de Janeiro. They have events almost every Saturday, but I recommend checking the schedule for up-to-date information.

The samba events here usually start in the middle of the afternoon and end around midnight, but they are always very full because this place is extremely popular.
