Hike
Hike
2-3h
If the summer nights are too hot in the valley a camping adventure in the higher Swiss mountains are the most refreshing escape.
This is compared to Appenzell a truly off the beaten track place where you will most likely be alone with some ibexes & black nose sheeps.
Starting point is the Alpe di Cruina where you have many parking lots if you come by car or it's the same named bus stop. From there you'll have a 2hrs hike to the camping place close to Nufenenpass (keep in mind you can not reach it from the pass at the moment since the trail is closed. If you feel like hiking a little further to get to more different agles for photography, then the Nufenenstock or also Griesspass (with a cute biwak) are worth the effort.
I recommend to do this hike with a sleepover in the tent since you get the most prime times during sunset and sunrise you would otherwise miss out.
