The Butchart Gardens Vancouver Park is a picturesque botanical garden located on Vancouver Island, near Victoria. It is one of the world's most beautiful and well-maintained gardens, with stunning flowers, statues, and other features spread over 22 hectares. It was established in the early twentieth century by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Butchart, and has been cared for within the Butchart family ever since. The Gardens boast vibrant Japanese and Italian themed areas as well as Mrs. Butchart's original Sunken Garden, created around an exhausted limestone quarry, and the stunning Ross Fountain. Visitors can take guided walks, stroll by themselves, or take a tranquil ride in Jennie B, the electric boat. Along with various entertainment events throughout the year, this captivating location provides visitors with a wonderful day out no matter the time of year.
