This is by far the most beautiful waterfall in Taiwan! It is located in the Pingxi district of New Taipei City. It may not be as massive as Niagara Falls, but it still impresses with its 20-meter tall and 40-meter wide curtain-like appearance. The waterfall gets its name from the nearby Shifen village, where you can find Shifen Old Street (famous for lantern lighting) just a short walk away.
Getting here is pretty straightforward, you can take your nearest TRA train to Shifen Station and walk for around 15 minutes to reach this waterfall.
There are snacks and drinks options available on the spot, so you don't need to worry about getting hungry!
