Just next to Kawaguchiko Station is a great photospot that used to be literally empty but is now pretty well known. I still managed to snap some pictures here at around 10am but it was very busy. If you're lucky you can get an iconic view of the special Fuji train with Mt Fuji in the background 🥹

How to get here: when exiting Kawaguchiko Station, go to the left. Before you reach the ever crowded Lawson, there is a small backstreet in between the station and the Lawson. Turn around to see the railroad crossing.
