This is one of my favorite photographs from Moab and I'm telling you exactly how to capture it. I first took this photo in 2015 and it remains one of my favorites of all time. Its also super easy from Green River Overlook.
Photographer will stand at the official Green River Overlook around here: 38.378418, -109.888637
Subject will stand out on the rocks here: 38.378353, -109.890569
To access this point, the subject will need to walk up and over the butte to the right -- you'll see the mesa to your right and likely a well defined trail going up and over. There is a LOT of biologic crust in this area so please stick to trails and slickrock.
