bericht van Irene Pila

Cinema dei Piccoli is a unique movie theater located in Rome's Villa Borghese. This little wooden structure is the world’s smallest cinema and has only 63 seats. In 1934, Alfredo Annibali was inspired to create this cinema after watching Mickey Mouse cartoons, originally naming it ‘Cinema Topolino’ after the famous mouse. Today, Cinema dei Piccoli provides a delightful and interactive experience for children and adults alike, showing European and Hollywood productions during the day and into the night. From its air-conditioning to its mixture of films, Cinema dei Piccoli continues to be a cultural landmark and an excellent activity destination for those visiting Rome.
