Ponte Sant'Angelo, constructed in 134 AD by Roman Emperor Hadrian, is a magnificent marvellous bridge in Rome, Italy. Spanning the Tiber from the city centre to Castel Sant'Angelo, this 135-metre long bridge is made of travertine marble with five arches, three of which are Roman. It is only used for pedestrians and offers a scenic view of the river and its surroundings. Additionally, along the bridge, there are ten statues of different saints, including Saint Peter and Saint Paul, designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Today, Ponte Sant'Angelo is an iconic attraction and a must-visit destination for all travelling to Rome!
