Escape to the stunning Goat Island Marine Reserve in Leigh, Northland for an unforgettable day of underwater exploration and adventure. As New Zealand's first marine reserve, visitors can snorkel among vibrant marine life, paddle a kayak, or cruise on a glass bottom boat to witness the abundance of sea creatures up close. With crystal-clear waters, diverse wildlife, and breathtaking views, Goat Island offers the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and make lasting memories.

I personally have done this experience many times but quite a few years ago now. The nearby campground is an amazing spot to stay, and then close by you have the townships of Leigh and Matakana which have great restaurants and vibes especially during summer.
