Melrose Abbey is a stunning medieval ruin with a rich history. Founded in 1136 by David I, it was a favoured burial place for Scottish royalty, including Robert the Bruce's heart. Visitors can still appreciate the amazing architecture, charming sculptures (like the famous bagpipe-playing pig), and the Commendator's House Museum with its medieval artifacts.

Audio guides are also available.
