Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area is a chill spot nestled in Palmer Lake, CO, offering 36 acres of outdoor fun below Ben Lomand Mountain. Visitors can enjoy birdwatching, non-motorized boating, fishing (with a license), hiking, biking, and horseback riding along the New Santa Fe Regional Trail. Picnic areas with tables and a pavilion are perfect for chilling with friends or family. Just a heads up, swimming isn't recommended due to heavy vegetation, but there's plenty of other cool stuff to do at this laid-back park!
