Siam vibrant neighbourhood isn't just known for its expansive shopping opportunities. You can get your cultural fix at the city's biggest art gallery and cultural centre or take a trip into the past at beautifully maintained teak villas, famous temples, and shrines. There are so many spots for great photos around Siam, I'm not sure where to start. We could start from Siam BTS station. Here you have one of the most luxurious mall Siam Paragon where you can shoot some photos of the fountain, do some shopping, go to cinema, or grab some drinks and food. I suggest Bankara ramen for a quick bite, definitely the best ramen in Bangkok. Very nearby in front of Siam Discovery mall, you have a bridge which is famous to shoot the traffic. From the BTS skywalk there are also many opportunities for traffic photography with many intersections of main roads. I also recommend a stop nearby at the Jim Thompson house, beautiful museum in an old teak villa (200 THB).

You can go to Red Sky rooftop bar (56th floor) at Centara Grand at CentralWorld. This mall is also really huge and you can find hundreds of good places for shopping and eating. I recommend Uno Mas (spanish food), Nara (thai food), iO italian Osteria or try some small bites in foodworld, the food court of CentralWorld. At the other side of Pathum Wan, near the Sam Yan MRT station, you will find a famous photography location mixing the old house style of Bangkok with the new ultra modern condominium. Nearby is Wat Hua Lamphong and just close to it, you can donate at the Ruamkatanyu foundation to help people with no relatives to get a proper funeral. From there, you can walk to the infamous Patpong night market for some fake merchandise and ping pong show (careful of scams).
