I also haven’t heard anything about this place before, but just accidentally came across on the way back from Fanal to Funchal.

There is even no geolocation on Instagram to tag this place 😁 but you can definitely find it on Google Maps 🌍

Miradouro do Pico da Murta is a breathtaking scenic viewpoint located in Madeira. The area offers tourists a captivating experience with picturesque vistas of the peak Pico da Multa (one of my friends called it Maderian Matterhorn:)) and the church Igreja da Serra de Água. At Miradouro do Pico da Murta, visitors can explore other notable sights like Pico Grande, the hamlets Eira do Mourão and Fajã Escura, and the Civil Parish of Serra de Água on the Portuguese island of Madeira. There's plenty to see and hear around this beautiful spot, as well as near-by picnic sites such as the Serra de Agua for a perfect day out!
