Wat Chaloem Phrakiat, also known as the Temple of the Floating Pagodas, is a stunning and lesser-known gem located in Lampang Province, Thailand. This hidden treasure features pagodas that seem to float atop the mountain peaks, creating a breathtaking sight that will leave you in awe. Built over a decade ago by a revered local monk and a team of dedicated workers, the temple showcases the incredible devotion and craftsmanship that went into its creation. While it may be a bit challenging to reach, the journey is well worth it for the chance to witness this remarkable work of art and spirituality. It will take you around 45 minutes to go up, and 45 minutes to go down, with 300 steps climbing very steep to reach the 800m summit. I've seen seniors and children to the climb, so no worries, just take your time.
