Beautiful tree growing in Lake Taupo

Photospot

Message from Rach Stewart

The Taupo Tree is a relative new comer to the New Zealand landscape photography scene and it is probably one of the most sought after locations due to it being a guarded secret.

I'm more of a share it with those who really want to see it kind of person, which is why I've given the location in my photospots map. If you drive to the end of Mac Road and stroll out to the Lake foreshore you will see the trees in the distance.

This spot works best at sunset with the golden light hitting the tree and it's usually a lot calmer at this time for the chance of a reflection. Use your wide angle lens for this spot.
