Pinnacles Hut in the Coromandel Forest Park is a great spot for adventurers to explore the surrounding area. Located two hours away from the road end, Pinnacles Hut boasts 80 bunk beds, cold showers, solar lighting, BBQs, gas cookers and solid fuel burners. This serviced hut must be booked online prior to arrival. There are a number of tracks nearby, including the Kauaeranga Kauri Trail (Pinnacles Walk) and the Rangihau Track. Guests should bring their own food and water if planning to take day walks - there's no better way to discover local wildlife, flora and fauna!
