Eely Point Reserve, located close to the town centre of Wanaka, offers a beautiful alternative view of the lake and when the water level is low there is a stunning set of rocks that create a great leading line towards the mountains for photography.

There is plenty of parking at Eely Point and well formed tracks around the reserve. You will find the rocks along the foreshore of the reserve.

This spot is beautiful at sunrise and sunset during golden hour. Take your wide angle lens with you to capture to whole scene.
